These shapes came to me while trying to describe a person with calm presence; the sense of safety and ease, warmth and loving attentiveness. For me it seems like the shoulders of a beloved friend sitting at your kitchen table, hands at rest in front of them, offering a compassionate ear and a heart full of care and gentleness. An invitation to speak and feel in complete safety: “So, dear friend, tell me how you are”.
